WWW Wednesday – 28 April 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words. WWW Wednesday is a quick look and current update in the life of a reader, by answering three simple questions.

The three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you finish reading recently?
  • What do you think you will read next?

What are you currently reading?

Sapphire Battersea by Jacqueline Wilson. This is the book my daughter and I are reading together this week. It is the sequel to Hetty Feather that we read last week, and although it is taking us a little while to get into this one, it is still pretty good.

What did you finish reading recently?

Hetty Feather by Jacqueline Wilson. I really liked this book, as did my daughter. Hetty Feather is a wonderfully imaginative character and is extremely sweet. Lottie adored reading about Hetty and her crazy adventure. For more of my thoughts on Hetty Feather check out my full review here.

How To Write Funny Characters by Scott Dikkers. I finished the book, but in all honesty, I found it to be quite boring. I took away a few things that I hope to apply to my own writing, but other than that it was merely okay.

What do you think you will read next?

I didn’t really pick up anything new this week, other than the book I’m reading with Lottie. I just couldn’t decide what I was in the mood for. I’m not completely sure what I’m going to be reading next either.

What have you been reading lately? Let me know!
